Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cleaner in Morzine?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We’ve rented an apartment for a ladies ski weekend. We are self catering but it would be nice to have someone in to clean the bathrooms and kitchen each day. Our chalet company can arrange a cleaner every day except Saturday because it’s their big changeover day, but ideally we’d like someone in every day (Thu, Fri and Sat)

Are there any cleaning services in Morzine who will take a short booking directly with a punter or is all long term bookings with chalet owners?

I can't see the problem in paying someone to do something like that. That's what you get in a hotel, it's just buying it in different elements after all.

Every time you buy a coffee or crépe etc you are offering the same transaction, paying someone else that wants to earn money doing that task. So why the snide remarks!

We had the bathrooms cleaned three times a day, camping in Cornwall Very Happy

Maybe. But I’m not in this thread to read about other people’s cleaning or hotel transactions. Yawn.
I’m here to chat about OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES ON WHITESTUFF (Italian restaurants are the only exception to this rule Toofy Grin)

Wrong thread for you then isn't it? If only someone had but a sensible title like "cleaner in Morzine" so you would have known to avoid it. rolling eyes But hey, thanks for your input, really
made a valuable contribution to the team bro.

@brokenbetty, My comment about taking a "servant" was meant to be lighthearted and not a snide remark as perhaps alluded to above. It also could have been a serious "off the wall" solution as we used to take an au-pair with us when we had young kids, she got to ski a good chunk of the day and we got help as we needed, winners all round Laughing In retrospect I should not have written servant as if the au-pair, that we still keep in quite close contact with and who is now a feisty 40 year old married mother of 3, saw that I would be in a serious bit of bother rolling eyes
Enjoy your stress free skiing weekend.

Thank you for apologising. And I agree snow and good food beats cleaning any day.

For anyone considering the same, it works out just over 21 euros each total for three days cleaning. We think it's well worth it to spend more time on the snow (or in the bars!)

They also arrange bakery deliveries and can pop meals in your fridge and deliver groceries @brokenbetty, outsource the lot- I do!

So to simplify that 7 euro a day each or even easier 1 beer a day to do no cleaning, come back to a clean & tidy chalet each day.
