Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Val Thorens Transfers-Looking to share

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I'm looking to share a transfer with somebody from Val Thorens to any of the local airports, end of the day on 15 March or early on 16 March (I have to leave my group early).

Alternatively, if anyone can suggest any reasonably priced shuttles that'd be appreciated.

Cheers

If you go to bensbus.co.uk - quick search and they have shared transport available at various times early on Saturday 16th March from VT to Geneva / Grenoble / Lyon ranging from 4am leave onwards.

Prices are around £50.

Can’t see you beating those. Friday 15th being a non switchover day may be more tricky to find. So if you can leave early 16th deffo the cheapest option.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Failing that, try Alpybus or Altibus. The former costs from €50 one way, though the latter is a fair bit dearer.

Both run on Fridays.

what about the T3 bus at 18.50 from VT to moutiers, then the 20.20 train from moutiers to Chambery, (direct 1 hr 30 train journey. 15 euros), then get a flight from Chambery on the 16th. you could also travel on from Chambery by train on the Saturday to Grenoble or Lyon. Lyon would be the easiest option, as the first train from Chambery to Lyon part dieu station is around 6am (direct,1 hour 30, 19 euro) then there is a direct tram every 15 minutes to Lyon airport.
