@horgand, They'll need to though (all jokes aside). Without us Brits many ski resorts are ghost towns, especially mid week. Even if the £ goes to parity, it is still cheaper to eat and drink in my favourite Italian and Austrian haunts than it is in the S.E. of Englandshire.
The REAL Brexit tariff will come when all remaining EU states find themselves having to pay more in, and the tariffs the UK collects on behalf of the EU no longer flow. And when the global recession hits (it's kind of overdue and all the warning signs are there) and Italian and Spanish banks (and possibly a couple of German ones) start to fail, the ensuing blood bath will see a lot more losers than winners. For an economy like Ireland, which hasn't properly recovered from the last recession and has the 2nd highest per capita national debt on earth, which has to be funded of course, (that article says 3rd but I think you are above the USA), it's serious. A spot of skiing will be the last thing on your mind.
