Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Taxis evenings Morzine

Poster: A snowHead
Just organising the finer details of the husband's annual lads ski trip (which is followed on in a child-care tag-team style by the annual ladies ski trip). For their first night they are staying in a place around 3Km from Pleney and 1km from Nyon (allamands bus stop line E) before they move to the main accommodation for the week in Avoriaz. They would like to go out in Morzine that evening (Friday) but will need transport back to their chalet. They will have been out on the mountain all afternoon so will still have skis/boards with them. There are 6 of them. Could anyone recommend a taxi company they could pre-book please that could take the 6 of them and all their ski stuff back to their chalet? Any idea of costs?

Have a look at the Night Cab run by Action Transfers: probably 15 euros (total) for all 6 of them Very Happy

Disclaimer: haven't used them, but Action Transfers have been recommended as a general transfer company by other snowheads before.

If it is a minibus taxi from Morzine to Avoriaz it will be a lot more than 15 euros 150 maybe.

The Prodain lift runs until 9.00 weekdays and midnight Fri / Sat.

A free shuttle bus service operates from Morzine to Prodains from 08:30 to 21:00 - See Line A on the Aulps Valley Bus timetables.

@denfinella, Thanks. Will check this out. @TQA, the boys are in Morzine/Nyon just for one night and then will drive to Avoriaz and stay there for the rest of their stay. They don’t want to drive to Morzine from their one-night chalet on Friday though as they will be enjoying apres Toofy Grin

So are they at Pleney or Nyon? Pleney you don’t need a cab as you’re in the middle. Nyon call Getaway Cabs and pre-book

@Nadenoodlee, Sorry I have confused everyone! They are staying 2km southeast of Nyon (route de la Manche) and want to get back via taxi from central Morzine at night.
The next day they will drive to Avoriaz.
