Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snow Conditions Madonna di Campiglio

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Looking to book a trip to Madonna from 18th March but just wondered what the snow conditions are like. If there's a good base down etc

Usually go to Cervinia but the accommodation I wanted is booked up there.

Any info at all on Madonna would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Very Happy

Hi,
If you're looking to ski on piste Madonna has fantastic snow making and pisteing. We were there a month ago and the pistes were mostly excellent despite hardly any natural snow.

Bit of a bump for an old thread but with the right title. Heading off to Madonna for half term for the umpteenth time and hoping for an update on the snow conditions now there's been a big dump this weekend

Having a great time here in Madonna. Wall to wall sunshine, a few slushy pistes but most in excellent nick .a few queues but can be avoided with a bit of planning. You can also still a piste to yourself if you have an early lunch.

Another good day but whilst in the sheltered areas the sun drove up the temperature there was quite a cold wind high up which helped keep the snow on good condition. Stayed on the Madonna area today and the queues were more noticeable but nothing more than 5 minutes so not bad for a half term week.

My son and family have been in Madonna - now in Venice, but they enjoyed Madonna and had no complaints about snow conditions. They enjoyed the sun!

@pam w, absolutely you'd have to be really picky to complain give how kind the weather has been to you. I prefer slushy bumps to icey ones any day.
