Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Welcome to snowHeads! Very Happy

Still 1 place left on the preBBWUW7

At least 1 other person is flying from BRS - VCE (on Ryanair)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You could pay a visit to Exeter Ski Club https://www.exeterskiclub.org.uk/ - They run a very successful and popular ski trip annually (although it is in early March) and you can also post a message on their noticeboard in the clubhouse, to see if they have any members going out on a trip soon.

The Snowheads bashes are pretty good for solo skiers, the only hassle being that often the cheapest flights are from LGW so a fun 3-4hr drive along the 303. Although sometimes there are cheapish flights from BRS.

...and of course, there are often multiple snowHeads doing the journey at the same time so there's always the possibility of a car-share (which effectively starts the bash earlier Wink )

Thanks for all of your replays. My preferred means of transport would be flying from either Bristol or Exeter , although I would be happy to share the driving if someone was going by car.I have driven quite a few times in the past and is fairly convenient to have transport there if one has an area ski pass to try other local resorts

I was actually referring to a car-share up to one of the London airports in the absence of anything convenient from the South West - but yes, road trips all the way can be good too Wink
I actually just got an extra room from the hotel so we've a couple of places on the PreBBWUW now.

@mike1958, my preferred means would definitely be flying from EXT, but sadly it's often overruled by budget. It's why I drove back from Gatwick yesterday following a new year trip, and it's why I'm heading back up there in 3 weeks time to go on the PreBBWUW.
