Just bought my first pair of skis last Black Friday. Have rented for 4 years.
Now I have to buy proper bindings.
I am an intermediate to advanced skier. 73 Kg and 179 cm. I spend most time on piste but also like to venture off piste and powder.
I got a Rossignol Sky 7 180, which is 98 cm underfoot.
Since it's the first time I buy bindings, I'd like some advice on what size of binding to buy and max DIN should be ok for me.

Pretty much any Alpine binding then. Use something like this to get an idea of your DIN range, then rely on the shop to set them, err on the low side and if you keep popping out you can always get them put up by 0.5. Your boot sole length decides the mounting points.

Regardless of DIN................ Look TT (Pivot).
Go to an experienced - competent shop and have the work done precisely. Sure hope your boots are right.

And what width should I buy for a ski with 98 mm underfoot?
I was searching online and was wondering if the width advertised (90 mm for example) is the width of just the binding or the brakes?

It’s the width of the brake. Look for 100.
