Crystal Ski are taking ski bookings for 19/20 season. But be aware that there is no Ski Carriage for LGW-Turin. Crystal were unable to tell me if this is temporary/or when they would be accepting Ski Carriage with Bookings.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Something random but I spotted in my annual travel insurance that I am not covered for holidays booked more than 12months in advance. Not quite sure when that was added as I have certainly booked more than 12 months in advance before! Be worth checking yours if you are planning on booking for 19/20 season.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Sounds like they're desperate for cash...

Seems logical, when you think about it, that if you have a policy which expires in month X an event occurring in month X + 5 isn't covered.

Hmm it doesn’t for me? My annual policy runs from 1st Jan. So I often book a holiday in one year, which I don’t go on until the following policy year. So why should I be uninsured if I book in Mar 2018 for a holiday in Apr 2019, but I am insured if I booked it in Apr 2018 for Apr 2019? It is still booked in one policy year and gone on in the following one.

You get more coverage the further in advance you book if your policy covers cancellation, or if you don't have to inform the insurer of any updates in your medical status priopr to travel.
I suspect it is something to do with this.
