Nothing at all. I don't really listen to recorded music...
Agreed. Well, I do listen to recorded music, but hate having it piped straight into my head, whether on the slopes or not.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I like to be able to hear everything around me on the slopes, I don't trust anyone not to crash in to me (although I often hear songs and think "that would be great to ski to")

Can this not be turned into a thread of people that don’t listen to music telling everyone that they don’t listen to music? Although I agree about the dickheads that seem to think everyone else wants to hear their shite europoo.
If I did it would likely be hip hop, UK rap and house/dance. Not sure people would like my choices given other clips posted so far!
snowHeads are a friendly bunch.

@Bennisboy, are they the same tools that sit in groups right in the middle of the piste, usually at the crest of a steep bit?
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@Bennisboy, you haven’t shared a flat with DotM then! One day was a 90s hip hop wake up, the next was a reggae breakfast etc etc.
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

If I was to listen to music while skiing it would probably be stuff like the below. Weird thing is it's not even my favourite kind for day to day listening, I just feel like it goes well with laying out some nice turns (Apparently the creator of the first video feels the same way! Never seen the video for it before so that's a coincidence!). You need to get at least a minute into each of them for the full song to really kick in
I’m another one who doesn’t listen to anything as I ski. However, as Mr P Junior is always on the lookout for new tunes for his freeski films, I still take a keen interest in music. This weird little ditty was spotted by me...it takes a bit of time to warm up, but I think it’s great . And I can certainly imagine this in my head as I bounce down some fresh powder (but without the cliff drops and backflips!). The artist is called Cosmo Sheldrake.
@Perty, that video looks like a Wes Anderson/Terry Gilliam collaboration! Definitely get what you mean about using it though, can easily imagine that in the middle of a ski movie.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I keep my ears open in case I miss a call for help.
This is my playlist for when I'm driving to the Alps, the tunes that are running through my head* when I'm carving beautiful corduroy pistes, and my favourite playlist for getting through a boring afternoon at work.
*I don't actually listen to music when I'm riding, I just seem to suffer from almost constant 'earworms'.

I don't listen to this whilst skiing but I find I keep singing it! Particularly on first day.
