Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)
Remember me:
durr, I forgot...
Or: Register
(to be a proper snow-head, all official-like!)

FS: Snow tyres and alloys - BMX X1 original model

My dad has 4 winter tyres and alloys from the first model of the BMW X1 that he wants to sell. Pirelli SottoZero. 225/50 R17 Run-Flats. I do not know the name of the alloy design but, knowing my dad is not particularly bothered about styling of cars, it would be the most basic design. They were bought from the BMW main dealership at JCT600, Bradford.
He changed to the new X1 last year presuming that the old wheels would fit. Apparently, a new braking system on the new model means that they do not. He used them for 5 winters but only goes out when totally necessary in adverse weather, ie. snow, so still a decent amount of tread left. For transparency, I went around to his house to see what type they were and to get details of size, make etc. And I found a screw embedded in one of the tyres. I am going to take it down to the local garage who plug tyres to get it repaired as it is in the centre, so it won’t be an issue (unless you do not want a repair job - I have a repair job on my 535d and, when I talked to the chap about it, he told me that it is a very strong way of repairing. Mind you, he would, wouldn’t he!) Anyway, at the moment, they are sitting in his cellar so any offer will be considered since he can’t use them so he is making nothing of them whilst there.
Edit: If in the north of England, happy to drive hour or so to meet someone halfway from Bradford. That will mean south to Sheffield ish, West to Manchester, and north towards Ripon/York area.
