Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Arinsal - Andorra for Xmas

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
To book or not to book for this Christmas leaving in 2.5 wks (Dec 23rd to 30th)?
I'm watching the snow cams, Googling the 14 day forecast and looking at the yearly stats...are there any other insights?
Is there anyone there who can say the conditions are a-okay atm (for a youngish family of intermediates)? We were there last year at Xmas and got lucky with the snow...just worried that it was pure fluke! However it's the perfect resort for us young'uns/were newbies...we've really got the bug and desperate to go again, but if we are best to wait a month I'd rather hear the truth (and suffer Xmas with the MIL).
Is there a big dump coming at the end of this week?
Crystal ball anyone?

@HMC3, big dump for Arinsal? No - snow is forecast for the Alps but Arinsal is in the Pyrenees.

Can't help with your other questions.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Here you gohttp://www.skipass.com/meteo/Pal-Arinsal.html

If you can't read french, paste the URL into google translate. Or use google chrome browser, and it is translated automatically.
Any forecast further out than 8 days is FI.

Also, read nozawaonsen on the weather outlook thread for longer term

Imposible to say right now. Things aren't looking that great for the Pyrenees in the short-term forecasts. Perhaps there'll be a snowfall in a week or so, but the mid-term forecast is too unreliable to be able to say with any certainty at all at the moment.

Arinsal opens today to coincide the start of a long bank holiday weekend in Spain... so take a look at their webcams. Right now there's stuff open, but I don't know how good it'll look after another week of sunshine.
