Interesting fact. Apparently Red Bull helmets and hats are NEVER supposed to be available to punters and are part of a contractual term for sponsored athletes that they will never pass or sell them on. Brand integrity and all that.
So if you see a RB helmet on the slopes expect big things.

The jacket is legendary...so will not get changed. It's mainly green on the back. Looks like an Italian flag.
It's still a tie...

It all depends on how good you are. Everyone knows that yellow kecks and helmets add 10% to everyone's expectation of how good you are and/or mean you can't ski badly cos then you'd look like a douche.

I think wearing a black helmet makes you look like the man from Milk Tray.
I say wear a lurid mix of bright colours, i wear: white helmet, bright blue jacket, motorway-sign-bright-yellow trousers, shocking orange gloves, you can see me for #@$#*# miles!

Black looks better and goes with any jacket. Yellow is more visible in poor vis conditions or if you want someone else on slope to see you easily.

- Further fueling my "all the gear and no idea" look - 10% advance in expectation (my jacket says "racing" and i;m no-where near that)

Reading a bit further into it's all a bit weird. In the past I have skied with two people who had Red bull helmets both of which were pants ( and not very pleasant) which made me assume red bull had been licencing them but I'm not too sure. There's lots of instructions on the net for making your own red bull helmet (quite why is beyond me) and in mountain biking it would appear red bull have been fairly litigious of some amateurs making their own.
As to Sean Pettit's contract I can't divulge due to attorney client privilege
