Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bump.

Really surprised that nobody has snapped up the Brahmas or the Bonafides.

@spyderjon, Speaking as a potential customer, I don't think the Brahmas are anywhere near that 'snap your hand off' price point.

Probably just my ignorance though.

30% off the market rate is a pretty good deal for 18/19 kit that has only been skied a few times .

Not sure if this helps as a comparison or not but last year I bought ex demo Salomon rocker 100 plus Guardian 13 binding from Ski Bartlett for £230

Maybe I just got a very good deal

End of season bargain in Alber Sport in St Anton at Easter this year were a pair of 2018/19 Brahmas (the black ones) brand new no bindings 250 Euros. I wanted a pair in 180, the bargain pair were 187 and just too long for my ski-bag.
I would reckon a pair of demo's should be in region of £300 to be a good deal.

That's the issue with bargain hunting, you've got to be a bit lucky to get the ski you want in the size you want. The skis I really want are 540 for last year's but only available in a length that's marginally too short, 600 for the correct length. Choice 2 is 500 for the correct length.

I suppose the point I'm making is that 485 is a good price if you're set on the Brahma. If you're not, it's not going to change your mind.

Apologies for appearing ungrateful @spyderjon, all in, it's an amazing set of offers you've put together.

The 187 are reportedly too much ski for pretty much everyone. Hence the cheap price tag. I have yet to see a pair of 180s at that price.

Many thanks to Jon (spyderjon) for a really good, old fashioned service.
- I ordered some Volkl Mantras from the list on page 1 of this thread and managed to change the bindings to something more exotic, all arrived yesterday (to be used in anger at the weekend) - a very happy customer!
