Hi all, looking for recommendations on where to go this winter with our 1.5 year old daughter. We're taking my mother-in-law as well and will rotate between us in caring for our daughter while the rest are out skiing.
Last year (at six months) went to Les Menuires and had a truly terrific time on the snow, but this time I'd much rather have real attractions for our daughter to enjoy throughout the day (both for her and our sake).
Not looking for a creche (don't think she'll fit), but for example indoor pool complex with toddler areas, playgrounds, etc. (what else can we expect?)
General direction is 3rd/4th week of March. We're all good intermediates who ski well on all reds. Love large resorts and a sense of travel. Wanting ski-in-ski-out. No more than 2-3 hours drive from airport, preferably less.

@chenav, loads to do in Mayrhofen. Town is in the valley so weather different versus on the mountain. Nice train to ride on if grandparents and daughter like that too.

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in Austria are truly setup for kids of all ages including playgrounds in the snow up the mountain and good restaurants that pedestrians can access by gondola if you want to meet for lunch. There are a couple of Kinder hotels as suggested by @Bennyboy1, in Serfaus.

Funny as that's the first option that came to mind. What are the advantages there besides having the Aquariaz? And being relatively close to GVA.
Others: wasn't familiar with the Kinder Hotels, thanks! Will have a look at the different options. From what's been mentioned already, Serfaus does look lovely but we can only fly into Munich (not Innsbruck) so a bit out of reach with a small child, and Mayrhofen/Zillertal in general are less appealing due to the long distance between different mountains.

@chenav, we’ve reached Serfaus from Innsbruck many times and also Munich which takes about 3 hours. There is also Friedershafen(?) airport

@chenav, Val D‘Isere and Tignes 2100 (Le Lac) both suitable I think.
Great snowsports area. Excellent lift system. Plenty going on off the slopes. Snow sure in late March.
Val D has more of a proper town feel and generally considered more attractive. Tignes a bit higher and purpose built.
Both have very good swimming pools / leisure centres.
Not cheap but often bargains in off peak weeks you’re looking at.

I'd add Flaine to the list.
Close to Geneva, all ski in/out in main village, swimming pool, walk out onto snow and child play area in centre of Forum level. Miniature "cable car" between upper and lower villages called the red devil, easy to meet for lunch with whole group, access to top for pedestrians via main gondola lift.
Absolutely ideal for family as described. We've often been there second week of March also, no problems with snow, plus ski journeys out to the far edges of Grand Massif skiing area.

Les gets or chatel. Chatel has forme d'o spa with the childrens pool, both have ice rinks (with push things for tiny ones), carosels and childrens activities such as milka cows as well as easy pedestrian access to slopes. Les gets has the mechanical music museum and the petit train. Both have the family montagne plus label as they cater so well for all the family and are proper towns. We run chalets in les gets and chatel and have lots of under 2s stay who seem to have lots of fun as do the parents / grandparents looking after them. They get theiir own free little hands free lift pass

@chenav, +1 for Les Gets. Similarly close to Geneva, very attractive town and extensive ski area is Megeve.
Bear in mind their relatively low altitude, given your late March plan.
Meant to add to earlier post that flying in/out of Chambery gives the shortest transfer to Tarentaise resorts, like Espace Killy, or 3 Vallees.

If you are swip-swapping child care avoid those places where you have to gondola up and down. Your "ski in/ski out" instincts were right.

What about Morillon 1100 in Grand Massif? Is there anything to do there for non-skiers as far as outdoor/indoor playgrounds, pools, etc.? Couldn't find much info online...
