Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Apologies if this has been asked before. Who do you find best to book flights only. Having a nightmare trying to sort flights from manchester to Kamloops for 10 ish days.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

You can fly to Vancouver from Manchester via LHR then catch a shuttle bus to sun peaks.
or
Air Canada will book you all the way to Kamloops but not necessarily on the flights you want flying via Calgary gets you into Kamloops earlier than than if you fly via Vancouver.
Ba you book Manchester to Vancouver then book either Air Canada or west jet to Kamloops.

Or book to Seattle then to Kamloops cannot remember who we flew out of Seattle with.
Icelandair Manchester to Vancouver, via Reykjavik, again you have to book your own onward flight to Kamloops.

We are flying from Manchester to Heathrow to Vancouver staying overnight then fly to Kelowna, drive to Sun peaks 10 days then we are going to Silver star for a few days then fly back to Vancouver.
There is a shuttle from Kelowna airport to sun peaks. You book the shuttle with the resort on the web site.
We have found its better going to Calgary but BA have dropped that flight in this winter. The Calgary flight got in earlier with more flights to pick from to Kamloops and Kelowna.

We have not used the shuttle bus from Vancouver to Sun Peaks but we have used shuttles from Kamloops and Kelowna airports.

The only issue with booking flights with 2 separate airlines is if there is a problem with one flight (delay/cancellation) it can be a huge issue. Booking with a single airline insures if something goes wrong with one flight they should sort everything out.

As you are finding out international flights and regional flights often don't seem to line up well in Canada. There's not a whole lot you can really do about it, particularly if you want to visit a more remote resort.

Best option is probably fly into a hub and take a shuttle bus. Air Transat are often the cheapest for the transatlantic flight.
