But seems to be in Macedonian (is that a language?) with no change button to English so will need use Google translate if it works and worryingly seems to refer to Xmas 2017.

They were great fun and clearly up for everything! Episode 78 has been out for a while, didn't quite get round to sharing, but why not listen now if you haven't already - some mentions for Snowheads too!
n Episode 78, we discuss the new National Snow Show coming up next month, summer activities in the mountains like e-biking, mountaineering and trail running, plus we talk to Tony McWilliam, founder of Faction Skis.
Iain was joined by Stephen Morgan, MD at Raccoon Events, and mountaineer Olivia Jane, with contributions from Alyn Morgan at SkiKitInfo and Katie Crowe from Battleface Travel Insurance.

@iainm, Your piece with Tony McWilliam was very enjoyable - and doesn't everyone likes a good origin story?
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

It was, but a pity it sounds like its now just another brand in a big producers stable, as these things tend to go you really make your money by selling up to someone who reckons they are cleverer than you.

Good way of putting it @ster - I can tell you he didn't want to talk about his ex-business partner and you can read between the lines in what we discussed I think that the 'big business' side wasn't his thing. Tony likes to create and he's let go of Faction now and moved on to other projects. (Still a great origins sotry though as you say!)
You know it makes sense.

Subscribers will already know this, but Episode 79 is now live:
- we discuss the latest testing & travel rules
- reveal how the new direct snow train will operate
- find out about Dynastar's new 21/22 skis
- meet the latest member of GB Snowsports squad
- find out if you can still work overseas in a post-Brexit world
- ask industry experts how they think the season will pan out
I assume they would be happy to hear real customer feedback?

Sorry, not enough hours in the day, so my first visit to snowheads in...dare I say, a month?
@ster - I will ask ST about that - good question
@AL9000 - no doubt you've listened now, but they were Nick Morgan (@leskichalets) Jane Bolton (@ErnaLow) Jenny Nicholls (@InghamsSki) James Gambrill (@TheSkiClub) Hannah Zajic (@Austria_UK) & Doug Newman (@SkiWeekend)
I've also published two more episodes since my last post, so more to catch up on here:
There's a lot in this episode: feedback from the show, chat about what length skis to get, Huski food delivery, but if you listen to one thing I strongly recommend you listen to Noel Miles, who talks about how Disability Snowsport UK have helped him get back on skis after an almost-fatal motorbike accident. Noel is so positive and it's a truly inspiring story.
Episode 82 now live. There's so much going on here:
Quote:
In Episode 82, we discuss avalanche safety, what a ‘rocker’ is and have interviews with Olympic medal winners Billy Morgan and Izzy Atkin.
There are snow reports from Italy, Switzerland and…the Netherlands, plus you can find out how to win a copy of Billy Morgan’s new book, ‘Drop in!’
Iain was joined by Henry Schniewind from the eponymous Henry's Avalanche Talk, plus Megan Hughes, Deputy Editor at InTheSnow Magazine, as well as regular equipment expert Al Morgan from SkiKitInfo.com
@iainm, started listening to these and enjoying them. thanks.

@iainm, I see #86 is out there, you're not keeping up!
Voted for you in the pod cast awards, looks like you're leading in the Winter Sports Category. It didn't seem that you did have to listen to a clip of each nomination before you could vote, so quick in the end.
Thought I would mentioned I took a cruise around that Private Instructor booking website, Maison Sport, you highlighted in #84. I thought it was pretty good, relatively easy to use and the on-line help chat was actually useful! Although why some of the listed instructors wouldn't have got their qualifications verified is beyond me.
PS #86 seems to cut out mid sentence?

I hope his helmet advice doesn’t stir up as many rabid posts as the Ski Sunday attempt did on its thread!
Episode 91 now live, plus I really enjoyed interviewing comedians Marcus Brigstocke and Andrew Maxwell...guess what, they're very funny!

Oh Ian, been at the celebratory champers whilst editing this one ? Several instances of audio overlapping as one item is begun before the last is complete.
