 Poster: A snowHead

I'm desparate to get hold of a copy of this as my 5 month old (Thomas) was at the event with us and it looks like he was featured in the crowd shots for 10 seconds or so with Mrs PeteL.
Would just like to have it to show him the future. Might even spur him on to have a go himself...you never know.

Can't help you but I saw a couple of clips on the TV and it looked fantastic - sort of like diving but upside down... even if it is judged on subjective criteria

Yep, it is completely mad. They basically fall from 45 feet in the air whilst spinning and try to land with straight legs for maximum marks.....BONKERS!!!!
After each jump they shovel fresh snow onto the landing area to try and soften the imapact a bit....but it's only about 5 or 10 shovel fulls. They then spinkle ash on the surface so that jumpers can better assess when the ground is coming up.
It's not really got a lot to do with skiing, but it is unbelievable to watch.

I set my sky+ to record it but haven't checked it yet. If it's ok I can try and copy onto vhs for you (not actually tried doing that yet but souldn't be too much of a problem)

Just to let everyone know what a great (virtual) place snowheads can be....
Dr Che...had recorded the ski aerials on Sky and was able to get it on tape and send it to me here in France...and my baby son was on it!!!!! What a happy ending I hear you all say!
