Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi! I'm looking for opinions on hotels in Oberlech - for a family of 4 (kids age 8 and 11). Looking at the Burg and Goldener Berg and not sure which to choose... any thoughts?

Have not at stayed at either of them but sure they will be excellent. Also worth looking at the Montana- stayed there 2 years running around 10 years ago and have yet to better the experience. Food was amazing and the kids will love the toboggan run at night.

We just stayed at the Goldener Berg for a week in mid April. We have 1 son who is 4. We really enjoyed it. It was a nice atmosphere but very kid friendly at the same time. Staff were all great. There seemed to be a few regular returning families and Brits with kids of different ages. We had lunch at the Burg and it seemed really nice too but no idea about the facilities and rooms etc.

If you have any specific questions about the Goldener Berg just get in touch.

Montana in Oberlech - stayed there in 2009, familie Ortlieb , very gracious and food incredible. Had crew in there for lunch once, and they took us back the next day, all 20+ strong!

In '18, stayed in Lech, as friends group from elsewhere were all gathered at the Austria Hotel in Lech, so Oberlech was a bit far for dinner and all that after a day of hard skiing. So lucked out, a superb small Hotel Jagdhaus Monzabon, rooms and spa are par excellence, as are the gracious hosts familie Schneider are excellent hosts. This is a gem and right next to everything! Thought it was way better on the whole than the Austria and that is a fine 'bigger' hotel, with bigger meals etc. Monzabon's fondue was voted better than Austria and even the Montana's by two kids ! and one teen!
