Poster: A snowHead

My Dainese Techno gloves have worn through on the thumb. The thumb area has an extra layer of leather as reinforcement which has gone, the final layer will go through if not addressed.
Can anyone recommend a leather repairer who could do a tidy job of replacing the reinforcing around the thumb?
Thanks.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

My Hestras got a thumb hole a few weeks ago, removable liners meant duct tape on the inside and stormsure on the outside.
Invisible mend.
They have done ~300 ski days so if the repair doesn’t last so long, I’m not too worried.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

start with your local tailor, they will normally be able to do something like this surprising cheap, if they can't do it, take it to an old time cobblers (rather than a kid who just knows how to glue a rubber sole on)

Maybe they should make the whole glove from gaffer tape. Tough and invisible to repair.
