Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi All,
I’m looking for a pair of junior off piste skis for my son and we’re currently near Sion/Sierre in Switzerland.
I normally use Ekosport near Alberville but I won’t be there til next week and given the current conditions it’s ***urgent***
Anyone know of any discount/warehouse type places anywhere close? I’m happy to drive an hour or so along the valley.
Thanks

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

What size? There are some Faction CT juniors (95mm) in a 155 in Backside Verbier reduced from 389chf to 195chf. Bindings half price too

Thanks. Need something like Black Crows Junius in 130 or Fischer Prodigy in 135.
But I forgot it’s Easter! Most closed til Tuesday anyhow. Might as well get them online from Ekosport.fr

Be careful, you'll get hammered for customs charges if you have a Swiss address.

It's not too bad. I bought skis from Ekosport in February. Skis were CHF415 inc delivery. I think the 'tax' I had to pay at the post office was CHF36.

What do you mean? With a Swiss address a company should remove the EU VAT (20%) and ship them tax free. Swiss customs should then add 8% Swiss VAT. As long as the sender add the correct documentation you should not get hammered.
