Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Pila ski hire

Can anyone sugest a place to rent some kids boots in aosta town or pila resort that ain't gonna cost me a arm?

I asked at Gal Sport who are at the bottom of the gondola. 40 euro for 6 days for some rather old boots.

There must be something better that that? I have a car so can get about.

Last year we rented from Noleggio La Roccia, Condominio Bouton d'Or, 11020 Gressan AO, Italy
Basically it is at the top of the gondola from the town onto the mountain. As you get off the gondola walk outside onto the pistes and turn right down some steps.
Good prices. Gear was a few years old but fine.

Interski are on the left hand side of the car park in Aosta at the gondola station. If it's quiet for school groups they might be able to help.

Hey thanks folks. Gal Sports left a bad taste in my mouth. I hired some fairly new kids boots in sestrire last year for 25euro so i think 40euro is a bit of ripoff.

@earl, there’s another hire shop the other side of the carpark in Aosta where the Pila gondola starts. Never used them so can’t comment re prices or service.

You could most likely get a second hand pair for less than 40euro and sell them on.

Up in Pila from top of gondola cross a car park heading to the left and you see a big building there is a ski hire place as you walk to right after car park ends. Friends had skis from there at Ok prices and seemed pretty new stock. Sorry cannot remember name!!
