Tignes and Val Thorens normally open in to the first week of May. Hintertux through the summer.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

There is much less May skiing than in the past, due to global warming.
But a few places remain good.
Val Thorens.
Tignes.
Zermatt.
Hintertux.
Mammoth.
Timberline.
Levi.
Folgefonna.
Riksgransen.

Also the following glaciers in Austria :-
Kaunertal
Pitztal
Soelden
Moeltal
Val Thorens is open until 8 May this year and should have 90% (or more) of the runs still open then .
