Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Wed'ze (Shorter Ski's) in resorts???

I was wondering if anybody knew if the new shorter skis called Wed'ze by Quashua were in resorts across europe yet.

The situation is that Im going to kitzbuhel early march and really want to use these ski's due to my recovering knee (usually use Blades).
And i want to know if i am going to have to buy here in the Uk or if I can expect them to be in ski shops for hire, which is what I would greatly
prefer. Ski hire was booked weeks ago and I cant seem to get a number to the right people.

Any help would be appreciated.

Quechua is the "own brand" of decathlon, the french sports superstore. I'd have thought you;re unlikely to find any in austria - the only ones I know of are in france and the UK. THanks to Deacathlon / Quechua's link with Les Arcs, "wedz'e" skis are available for testing in Les Arcs

What size are you looking for as I think that SwissJammer on www.skiboards.com/messageboard sounds like he will happily get rid of his.

Decathlon are in parts of Germanynbt and Italy and Spain also. Check location at www.decathlon.com. Sigun, I reckon they are nearly as cheap to buy Wed'ze as to them for a week.
