Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I would be interested to know what results you get. Have the same system for my boots. Had them for 2 years no problems yet but would like to be prepared for the day that it goes!

cheers chaps..
i had a vans pair of boots and somehow the twist button came off one pised up evening i couldnt find a spare in town so had to hire boots for the rest of the trip..
i got some new boots when i got home as those vans where a bit tight anyway and they had the boa system to tighten the inner and normal laces on the outside.. great boots but the wire broke .. it was the back foot and the laces did up tight enough not to bother me..
when i got home i started taking them apart but where i had wound the wire in so much not realising it was broken it had jammed inside..
after much trail and error i have managed to swap the remaining vans clicker over onto my new boot..
i would recomend taking one spare wire with you that is the correct length (or bring a pair of pliers) and all you need then is that little haxagonal srcew driver thing.. and id have an entire spare boa set..
once you start messing around with em they are easy to replace or change the wire.. just beware of winding too much wire in as once they jam up they are real bugs to unjam..
i have actually cut a few inches of wire of my current boots so i can get the bugs even tighter for those last few runs Cool ..
so whilst i am now sorted i will be trying to get a few spare sets and some 100 cm wire..
CEM, is letting me know, or i will call SMALLZOOKEEPER, number..

thanks once again!
