Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person
Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person
We used Google to navigate us up there 3 weeks ago. It was no problem, using the fastest route. It seems that Google uses live info from other travelers to accurately (very accurately) calculate your journey.
The warnings I WOULD give:
Hertz car rentals was shambles.
The Car park where you collect from is even worse, brace yourselves!
Worse still, did you know it was illegal to overtake on a bend in Italy? So stuck behind a transfer bus, just as one climbs through Brione. The road opens out in a sweeping left hand curve, one can see for 2 miles, no junctions, clear road, good vis, boot down and slide by the bus.
Italian plod steps out from hiding behind a roadside hut and flags me down. Lost 2 hours of my life, €114 Euro because apparently its illegal to overtake on anything less than a straight. You will see the spot: just on the approach to the hydro station beyond Brione.

Other than that, it was great to use a hire car, the drive was easy, the roads good etc.

We stayed in the Mountain Charme, it was lovely. Hope you have a lovely time in MdC, it is a lovely resort.
