Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Val Cenis Lanslevillard childcare/skischool ?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

Hopefully the forum is now full of people returning from the half term break with lots of useful info...

We're off to Val Cenis in Mid March. Will have a 4 year old who it would be nice to leave in the tender care of the professionals for a couple of hours in the morning. Apparently there is childcare in Lanslevillard available in a creche (ptit loups) or a more ski based version at the ESF. Does anyone have any experience of either ? Particularly the English skills of the carers and the amount of skiing that the ESF does ?

We've got another couple who are older and will probably be dumped in the ESF. Any opinions welcome, but they're hardy enough to put up with most things.

We're not cruel ! Family activities from lunch onwards ! But this is the first opportunity for 10 years to ski together...

pendodave, We used ESF at Val Cenis last year for the kids and they really enjoyed their lessons and the English standards of the instructors was good. No idea about the creche side of things but the school had a friendly feel to it.

T Bar, Lanslevillard.

pendodave, ESF also have a 'collection / meeting' point for lessons in Lanslebourg, just opposite the bottom of the 'Ramasse' chair. But most lessons will end at the bottom gondola station in Lanslevillard.
