Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Kendo good, Brahma not so?

@retsil, unless your a superstar Mantras are a ball ache on piste (mine ended up being down right injurious). I switched to Brahmas purchased off here mainly for teaching the kids to ski. I was hankering after Kendo's but none were coming up for sale at the time. I have found them brilliant, really confidence inspiring and happy to ski anything on them - when not with children and the Mrs. I've got 20Kg on the original poster so depending on weight your experience may differ.

ledge, Thats probably because your mantras were full rocker without camber( last 3 seasons skis ), the ones for next season are going back to camber with tip and tail rocker. Making them similar profile to the kendo but wider again, like they used to be.

All the op can do is demo both and see which they prefer - the only real way to know.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I finally binned my beloved Icelandic Pilgrims (soft flex, good in the soft, unstable on hard pistes) for Kendos. Having done a few days on them they have good on piste grip and are much more stable, but are equally sweet off piste. They do need proper inputs to work though. I’m on 177s at 83 kg 183cm tall. As for weight there is nothing extreme about them. Mrs MH is happier with the graphics too, and will now be seen on a lift with me!
