Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The little book "Bienvenue" for Val d'Isere does not list (page 10) an English centre. The Val website has (under: contacts==>local services) the following

Medical centres
Medical centre "MediVal" 04 79 40 26 80
- Dr Arnaud Dominique
- Dr Cuny Michel
- Dr Gotteland Robert
- Dr Luciani Pierre
- Dr Saunier Pierre
Medical centre "Val Centre"
- Dr Delobelle & Dr Morage 04 79 06 06 11
Medical centre "Val Village"
- Dr Griffiths & Dr Shaw 04 79 06 13 70

I believe that Dr Griffiths in the Val Village one is English.

I may be thinking of applying for a job. It would be useful if someone who's been treated by either Dr Griffiths or Shaw has an e-mail address for either them or the practice manager.

Kramer, you could try contacting the British consulates in the Alpine states - they should have a list of 'English-speaking' doctors in each country/region, then the names would be a giveaway...

Kramer, one of the Morzine medical centres employs a Brit. Oddly though it's not listed on the resort website.

In my experience the American embassies keep much better lists of English speaking contacts.

David Murdoch, their consular services are much more effective, being American they've an armed, covert section of course. So, I imagine you can have a troublesome neighbour taken out, or someone in a different town with a similar sounding name at least Very Happy
