Poster: A snowHead

I am in need of some help!!! I am taking my other half skiing for the first time, she has always been against it as she is a beach lover.
My plan to convert her is to ask her to marry me while out it Kopaonik (5th March 06) making it the best holiday ever then she will want to go to the snow every year. A win, win situation. I want to make it special so can anyone give me contact details of horse draw sleigh companies or recomend the best places to eat or anything else that may make the night special.
There is 8 of us going in total so the engagement party should be a good night as well all are invited!!!!
Cheers!

If the sun shines and your intended wife has a good instructer there is about a 35% chance she will like skiing. If the weather is bad the instructer useless and she hates it then i would advise proposing marriage at another time and location. The only time my wife has swore at me was when she was trying to learn to ski.
To help things along i would advise at least one visit to a dry ski slope so that she would become used to all the gear and if her ski class has more than eight people in or the instructer is poor then spend some money on a few private lessons.

Craig, Private lessons good value in Kop. a 2 hr lesson for 2 people cost me approx. £32 total in Jan. 06. MAKE sure you get a good English speaker though, one guy I tried couldn't speak English but mantain he could teach skiing just by watching him. I'd recommend a chap called Daverind from the Ski school based in the Grand Hotel.
Cheers Shane

I'm taking my wife to Kop. 26th Feb as I liked the place and great for novices, I will be booking Daverind for a foew hours for her.
Quite a romantic place, very pretty unlike Andorra et al.

I took my husband to Kopaonik for his first ski holiday (back in 1990 I think) and it proved to be a good choice, we loved it, he enjoyed skiing and he's still enjoying skiing now. The resort is very pretty, very small and very different.
Kopaonik is a small resort, coming back to skiing after a long war. It was very basic before the war, so has a long way to go to being a luxury resort. It's small, so also there isn't really an enormous choice of places to eat or things to do. It's main points are being small, the hotels are good with pools, skiing is to and from the door and the ski area is compact and friendly. To a great extent you need to make your own magic for a romantic holiday here, the resort can only help by providing a wonderful backdrop, put the ideas of a sleigh ride and a gourmet dinner away for your honeymoon.
