OFF-PISTE! I HAD a 'Euro' currency symbol on my keyboard (Key '4' shared with dollar symbol) and have LOST it!
I hope some techie can help as I have spent a few hours trying to restore it!!!
I run Windows XP Professional 2002 (Dell) & have been in the obvious places like Hardware - 'Keyboard' etc, but without success. Any positive ideas.....?

Thanks everybody but a deeper emotional problem with my keyboard! I know where the symbol was, having used it merrily for a few years........
It WAS AltGr+4 but no any more. AltGr+4 now only records blank.
I remember following some instruction on how to set up/activate the euro symbol, when the euro currency was established, but just can't remember how twas done......
How to tell that infernal key that it should be a euro?

How are conditions in Val T? I am back out in Bourg tomorrow and may get up to Val T on Saturday. The EURO symbol will just have to wait it's turn. All that snow needs compacting.....

BernardC, piste conditions in VT are excellent at the moment; some of the off-piste suffered with the recent wind. As rob@rar.org.uk says, the road could be busy this weekend - but if you're coming up early in the day it should be OK.
