Good run from Bode - good to see him cross the finish line, at least! Enough to push him up a few places perhaps?

Good clean run from Raich, takes him the lead with a big margin over Miller/Svindal.

Chenal with a great controlled run, but only enough to take second. Can Bourque take gold, or is it Raich's day?

Nice one for la Rosière! Wonder if F.T.S. is in a bar somewhere watching it!

easiski, that's such a shame they were both very exicting races, and although I didn't want Herman to lose, Benny Raich showed he's just about the complete skier and we were cheering for Joel Chenal.

I would have liked to have seen Maier get one last gold somewhere, but that's it now. Without the flu, who knows...
Great for Chenal, what a time to pull out two great runs after an indifferent season...

DB, as do most of the Austrian Nordic athletes if reports are correct - a large proportion of them allegedly have prescriptions for Salbutomol (sp?)....
David@traxvax, Couldn't stay unfortunately, but at 4pm this afternoon Joël Chenal was to be present at a reception on the 'front de neige' in La Rosière, think Frosty (TS) was going to be there, skied with him a bit in the morning.
(I reckon I know why the snow depths at altitude are high in La Ros by the way - it doesn't have to snow, 75kph winds scrape it all up and blow it over from La Thuile....)
