Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Off Piste Guide in Meribel

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

A group of us are looking for an off-piste guide next week (28th Jan - 4th Feb) in Meribel.

Does anyone have any recommendations or numbers/email addresses we could use?
We will also want to be hiring all the stuff too (transceiver, probe, shovel), does anyone know where we can do that in Meribel?

We will only want something like 3 half days throughout the week, not all week.

Thanks,
Paul

We used Ongosa.com to find someone in Flachau. They're a booking service specialising in off-piste instructors and guides in Europe.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Salgar, we have availability for instructor lead off piste guiding in Meribel next week and Stephen would be very happy to have a chat about your requirements.

For the hiring of off piste safety kit, I would recommend Sports 1600 in Meribel. See http://www.sports1600.com

Thanks for the tip. I'll give this a try for our trip to L2A/LG in March.

Hi, sorry for the attempted thread hijack but myself and my partner are also in the same boat here.

We are possibly looking for some instruction/guiding for a day some time between the 18th and 23rd of Feb if its not already too late.

@juliad would you possibly be able to hook me up with someone for this?

Cheers

John
