Flying to Insbruck next week from Heathrow T2 and wondering if any  had any issues recently with security, at either airport,trying to take ski boots by hand luggage? I believe some airports can be problematic. Thanks

Generally most airlines are fine with it, not sure about the security checks themselves, but I would imagine it would be the same

Flew swiss through LHR T2 (to Geneva) in January with boots in carry on. No issues.

Took mine through Heathrow as hand luggage in both Jan & Dec with no problem.

Just got back INN to BHX no issues either way
