Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfers to La Clusaz and Apres Ski advice

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Afternoon all, again apologies if these have been answered elsewhere.....

2 x 40 plus dads who think we are young and 2 x 18 year old daughters who don't appreciate how cool we are, are looking for a few options in La Clusaz, beers, bit lively etc

And also, any good companies for transfers as have googled and there are LOADS, so previous good recommendation would be handy

Thanks in advance

Cool Dad!

Been to La Clusaz past two years and it is not the liveliest of resorts at night time. There was a bar nea4 the cinema, next to the Cret du Merle lift that we watched the Champions League football in last year. That got very busy and they were preparing for a DJ to play some crap music as we were leaving after the football. Can’t remember the name of the place but right at the bottom of Cret du Merle. There was a couple of nice little bars in the main square that we used for a post ski beer, watch the rugby etc. We were usually tucked up in bed before 11. Can’t help with the transfers other than it is fairly short and should be hassle free hopefully.

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@JasonB,
It’s a really straightforward drive and often cheaper to hire a car from the Swiss side - assuming you’re flying to Geneva?
If you decide on a transfer, last week my son and 5 friends used alps2alps for Geneva - Le Grand Bornand after seeing a recommendation on snowheads. It was excellent - private transfer door to door and very competitive price. I don’t know how it works out if there are 4 of you but I would recommend getting in touch with them to discuss your requirements. They were very good at answering any questions we had very quickly

We (5) also used alps2alps last week and they were excellent.

Good price, good van and good drivers. A Latvian outfit I believe...

Aravis transfers - used them twice. Friendly bunch. Les Caves du Paccaly is a 'cool' place although we had a (hopefully one off) poor experience there in 2015 with one of the staff short-changing us by €50! Thankfully we noticed.
