Meteo France say January has been +3C above the long term average and you could see that yesterday in the Belledonne. Normally this road is snow covered from 1000 meters in the winter but yesterday you could drive to 1300 meters
and beyond that there wasn't much snow until over 1400 meters. The cover is good from 1800 meters. Great for higher altitude ski areas this year.
On a positive note, every year our heating bill is less.
