Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A blatant plug here for something that is fresh, fun and different. A couple of VERY long term ski industry supremos have put together a podcast.... oh and I was guest of honour last time around.

@Steve Angus, downloaded the podcasts last night, listened to pilot and half of episode 1 on train commute this morning, look forward to hearing the remainder over the next week or so, you cannot get to much alpine fix!!!!!!!

Snowheads should start their own podcast. We can all chip in with audio messages, via WhatsApp, with news and opinions on the topic of the day.
I’m sure dadmin would make a fine podcast host/moderator and he can play some of his favourite bass n drum noise Toofy Grin

@ALQ, using something like Discord would probably work, although you have to make sure that there aren't too many people in the call, otherwise you end up with everyone talking at once.

Listened to podcast the other day after seeing Steve's plug on his EK thread and enjoyed it. Sounded a bit like they're still finding their feet but there's good variety and nice information...plus it's always nice to hear people talking passionately about skiing snowHead
