Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Via Lattea beginning of March

We are 2 "silver" Snowheads (M&F) looking for two others to share a twin room in a penthouse apartment (attic) in a hotel in Oulx on a B&B basis Mar 4-11. It has really good reviews. The rough costs per person would be B&B 230€, car hire & fuel approx 60€, skipass 200€ + flights to Turin which are a bargain at the moment. Plus lots of lovely Italian food. Oulx is a lovely old town and central for Sauze (it actually has some good skiing), Sestriere, Cesana, Sansicario, Montegenevre & Bardoneccia. All covered by the Via Lattea ski pass. He's a good intermediate. Me? I just follow.... Any age would do but would prefer more oldies.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks. Never been to that area, how far is Oulx from the ski areas and how easy are they to get to? Also, what's the village like for eating out or does the hotel have a restaurant?
Thinking hard about this option as we are two males (early 60ish, but good skiers) looking for a cheapish ski deal whilst wives take a break in Scotland and hadn't considered b&b, so this could work for us

Thanks for reply. Have sent a pm. Oulx is approx 1hr drive from Turin airport & Sauze a few minutes up the hill. Sauze links into Sestriere, Cesana, San Sicario & Claviere. Montgenevre & Bardonnechia 30 minutes max. Lots of local food at local (not resort) prices- you are not at the mercy of a chalet maid's cooking or hotel's budget offerings. Restaurants & bars in both hotels I'm looking at.
