Scoop out the course.
Sort your accommodation early. (You are probably too late for Mürren itself).
Be fit - the uphill sections are always exhausting and can be barstewards.

And be aware that competition for places esp. if you haven't raced before is reasonably fierce.

@moseyp, this year I will be on my rather old Völkl Racetiger SGs (201cms). Whcih are quite soft and skiable.
SG is increasingly the tool of choice, from observation. If you get a place, Eddy Abegglen will rent you some antique Salomon monocoque 218 DHs if you feel the urge.
