Are these bindings suitable, obviously I ski mainly park with
some backcountry. I also ski just piste alot, will these skis be
allright for carving? I am an intermediate skier, 5'11 and 70kg, should i be looking at
171's or 180's?

Parkrat, Welcome to snowHeads
Yes, these bindings are ideal for 1080's. The 'Ti' means that they are partially made of titanium to make them far lighter than their steel equivalents. Make sure the brakes are wide enough though: I know u need specially wide brakes for Pocket Rockets although the standard brakes might be wide enough for 1080's.
I'd guess the 171 would be about right for your stature although if u want 'big floatation' in deep snow, u might want bigger. Best possible scenario would be to try each out on the mountain for a few hours and decide which feels right for u.

I'm similiar in height to you, a touch heavier and ski 171's on and off, seem to get enough float.....

If you're going to do backcountry then get the 180's but if more in the park stick with 171's. If you're mainly in the park you might be better off with a look binding. Why 1080's? Get something with a wood core or go for the ltd edition 1080 Cr's (with a wood core).

SammyQ, Sorry mate, i disagree. The train on rossi/look bindings is prone to detatchment on reception.
