Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Coches Easter

Can anybody help? We are planning to stay in Les Coches first week of the school Easter holidays 30th March. Are you able to get the lift up and down to the resort in the evening. Additionally, are there any small supermarkets in the town. Is it an easy location to get to and from. Just a little worried if we cannot ski down to the resort and we like to visit a few bars in Belle Plagne early evening.

Hi @louiscrow,

Les Coches is a village in its own right with supermarket, bars, restaurants etc. It's quite a small village and has a nice relaxed feel with a pedestrian centre but no 4am nightlife etc.

It's an easy location to get to and is well served with ski lifts, snow making etc as well as being right in the heart of Paradiski so its a good choice. For the 30th March week you are unlikely to have a problem with snow but if you did they do run the lifts down as well as up in this instance.

Although it is part of the La Plagne ski area it is quite far from Belle Plagne and you wouldn't be able to/from there in the evenings - you would need to go for drinks in Les Coches or in one of the bars on the piste above the village.

Happy planning!

Les Coches is a fantastic little village , great links into the whole area both sides of paradiski , we were there last year on 20th March and there was snow cover almost everywhere , albeit a bit slushy at end of day . ski runs back to resort were totally snow covered .The village sqauare is fantastic with quite a few facilities ,sportshops, bars ,restaurants, bakery and delicattesen , such a great place for a weeks holiday
