Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Christmas Jumper - to upgrade or not?!

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Merry Christmas everyone!

Now I have just been skiing in the below jumper. It is 100% red acrylic and features a snowman on skis in the foreground and some mountains in the background.

As it was a warm day I found that I could ski comfortably in just the jumper over a base layer so perhaps a good item for ski touring and the like?

The jumper did attract some smiles, mostly from fellow brits or antipodeans however, didn’t seem to get much reaction from the locals.

I’m thinking of upgrading next time to something brighter, perhaps with father christmas to ensure people understand it is a Christmas jumper or flashing lights. Maybe even tinsel, but this may affect the ski performance?

Any thoughts?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Flashing Lights are a must Anthony and also on the bobble hat. Happy

You might be right. However, I am concerned that the cold will affect the batteries in the jumper as it does on my iPhone. Perhaps a small solar panel could be attached to the hat to keep it topped up?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Yes. Merry Christmas.

Well. Absolutely, there's nothing Christmas about your current jumper, looks like an homage to winter - is your snowman skiing? - any road, a bauble bedecked tree is the least you could model...full on f Claus & sledge - roof - reindeer combo might get you a joyeux noel or some such. The more lights the better obviously.

Yes the Snowman is on skis which is why I thought it would be appropriate. Take your point though that it is more “winter” than “christmas” so will explore more extreme options for festive skiing next season.

The hat does say “HO HO” on it though... what is HO HO in French?

Good spot Spyderjon - fortunately Le Gendarmerie de la Mode were not out or they’d have had me on several charges!
