Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Menuires - Bars for Apres

 Poster: A snowHead

Anybody got any recommendations for a bar for post skiing rehydration in Les Menuires/ Les Brev?
I realise the French could learn a thing or two from the Austrians but a couple of pointers would help.

Currently in les Menuires with someone who has lots of St Anton experience, and he can categorically confirm that there is no comparison. Best options seem to be skilt and challenger bars in croisette but both are drinking/chatting bars rather than places which are kicking off at apres time. Challenger has good apres prices for beer from 5 til 9.

Funnily enough a similar question was posted yesterday - http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?p=3151346

There are a few bars in Les Menuires:

Starting at the Skilt, which is right on the piste - terrace, inside bar and hotel upstairs.
If you walk just to the right of the Skilt there are steps down into the covered shopping area. Follow it around to your right and you'll find another couple of bars - Challenge bar and something else. I think both have pool tables and you might find a band playing.
Finally if you leave the covered area near the Challenge bar and cross the car park you'll find Kube. This is more upmarket - go there if you're after a cocktail. They also have live music or dj.
