On the radio it was said that there's some confussion and his team don't / didn't realize that he had been disqualified. Somebody said perhaps they were all down the Disco or local pub when it was announced. I didn't think Raich could recover from being so far back.

Last I saw of this,it was being suggested that some eagle eyed coach spotted it,not the officials.It certainly took long enough for the leaderboard to change.Having watched the run replayed a few times,it was certainly difficult to spot.Only really apparent(just)in slo-mo.Every reason to believe that ----------was completely unaware of it.Very bad luck.

snowskisnow, the difference between gold and nothing!!. It was not spotted for about 20 minutes, see my posts above. Really bad luck for Bode Miller. Were the judges sleeping!!. A video playback shown the offending straddle. He must be really p****d-off with the decsiion. But his aggressive slalom technique leaves a lot to be desired !.
