Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Daft ski resort choices

Let's talk about daft ski resort choices. Some of you might know that we moved from France to the USA this year. More money that you can shake a stick at, four weeks holiday, and able to flex time over the business quarter.

Where to book a skiing holiday? Vail, Jackson hole, Whistler?

Ah, screw it. I just booked a week in Lans en Vercor:

We absolutely can't wait, and our 5 year old is desperate to get home to see her mates. Anyone else admit to such a triumph of nostalgia over skiing common sense? Mon coeur est resté en France!

@JamesHJ, I'd say that's one of the best decisions of the season.
Hang on, you're in US? Not fake nooos I hope? snowHead

@JamesHJ, are you the only person in the USA who gets 4 weeks holiday and flexitime?

Much as one admires the inhabitants of the colonies for their hard work and graft... a certain sense of relief is found when the flights home are booked!

TBF, when I was negotiating with HR, they asked me how many days paid leave I currently had. It turned out to be something like 56 days under the French system. Poor chap nearly fell off his chair!
