Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Saas-Fee Now. 1st 2 weeks Dec 2017 any Snowheads around?

I've taken the no doubt controversial step of actually starting a thread on SH. Who knows what trouble I'll get into.

Basically, I'm here in Saas-Fee and want to meet up with other skiers.

Piste only. The offpiste here is way beyond my risk factor comfort zone. (You regularly see crevasse rescues going on).

But I'm sure there will be some saisonnaires just arrived but not working yet.

Skiing on one's own is great but after a while gets a bit boring.

Mind you: Skiing on my new GS skis won't be boring. Get in touch if you are in town.

@SkiPresto, As a long term visitor to Saas-Fee I'll confirm that the difference in the offpiste between poaching a little piste side powder and being in a crevasse can be a couple of meters. Plattjen is the lowest risk due to the lack of glacier, but there is still an avalanche risk skiers left.

I'll be there in the middle of January.
