My name is George and im conducting research on the snowsports rental industry as part of my studies. Its on google forms.
All data is anonymous and NONE will be sold etc.

George, I tried to fill in your survey (realise I am not your target audience as I don't need to rent, but usually fill in surveys on snowheads). There is a glitch on page 3/3 where if you answer the first question on that page 'I do not need to rent' then you cannot submit your response due to all the following 'required field' questions about what you look for in rental companies.

what is it with all the surveys at the moment? Have the universities just handed out the dissertations?
@igloomagoo you do realise that at degree level, an internet survey of anonymous people where you get less than about 10,000 responses is practically worthless right?

Indeed. I wasn't at all sure I had answered it correctly. Better to ask, 'who do you travel with?' and then list the options.

I didn't get the following questions, it just went straight to the end (and I was able to submit). I assumed that was deliberate and that my form would go through but then be discounted because I don't rent. I think, on balance, that my contribution was completely useless!

Hey guys,
I know the functionality of the group size question can be better. I have taken note, I am cautious to balance the amount of questions for what I would like to know. However I am not against changing it when I find a better solution.
If you don't rent then it should let you submit as the rental questions might not be necessary.
I love the community input people are giving here, thanks for the input.

There is another glitch on p3 - This question requires one response per row. I put in 2 responses, but now cannot remove one of them, so am stuck...
