Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

And still it keeps on snowing !

the end of the season is getting close however. May bank holiday, Monday the 7th will be the last lift served ski day from a remarkable season in the UK and Europe Cool

That is the plan, and hopefully the 6 inches (!) of fresh remain round, but they are expecting it to warm considerably later this week.

Pics from monday, sadly my final visit of the season Sad

Just back from a Bank Holiday weekend ski at Glencoe:

- 20 min hike from top of access chair to the snow (near bottom of The Wall).
- Skinned from there.
- Haggis Trap still deep & wide for skinning up & skiing down - must be about 5m of snow in there.
- Main Basin complete - one narrow bit otherwise excellent.
- Spring Run just about full width after a walk in - a couple of narrow bits.
- Snow fast & granular despite temperature of 22C.
- 300m vertical available with one 5m break at the top of The Wall.
- Well worth the trip Very Happy
