Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Kinlochleven ice wall.

Has anyone seen the ice-climbing wall at Kinlochleven (South of Fort William)? It's the bigest in Britain, I'm told, and quite impressive.
I'm not a climber myself but I was nearby, walking in the mountains, and had a look. (It's a very scenic drive, anyway, and a wonderful vue down the loch if you climb the pass behind the village).

Not been myself but one of my mates went there said it was good, spent a few hours there. It has a website (sorry guys not going to try a link)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Ah snowball, Kinlochleven , Fort William, West coast of Scotland, wonderful place. My dad lives just across Rannoch Moor at Blair Atholl (strictly: "Bridge of Tilt"): not far of you're a crow, but long-long way by car.
Photos on this site give an idea of the lovely misty-damp feel to the place.
If you click on Pitlochry and then Ben Vrackie you can see one of my favourite walks.
A walk up Ben Vrackie is never complete without a pint or three at The Moulin afterwards.
Happy days....

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Great place the Moulin. Difficult to make do with 3 pints.
