Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Skiing - how soon after giving birth?

@jd_evans, he'd logon to say thanks but, y'know, Lego calls...

@Dave of the Marmottes, it's going alright - probably better if she'd stop for 5 minutes and do the exercises her "physio-terrorist" gave her to do... we need to return your crutches back to you too. Will PM you.

Not sure I'm adding anything which hasn't been said above, but my wife and I, baby daughter and dog went to Tignes in March, when our daughter was six weeks old. We got a two bed apartment for two weeks with kitchen, and Liezel did skiing afternoon only, with a nanny to help with the baby then.

It was very good actually, though I think off-piste in deep snow isn't a great idea six weeks after giving birth... that day wasn't so good. But the birth etc went reasonably smoothly, so Liezel had started getting fit again in time for the holiday, which is probably important for safety. We did delay finalising the bookings etc until a month before leaving, when we were moderately sure it would go ok, which it did!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Worth looking out for resorts that have a shared parent pass, there was a thread on this previously and I know the Skistar resorts have one.
