Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@moosepig, Yes, Tate Ronde is great fun but Jerusalem probably pips it. I love the Gran Risa down to La Villa.

Yep, see also Piste 3 on the Mottolino side of Livigno.

Downside of both is that they tend to be absolute s**tshows in terms of number of skiers, best attempted late in the day.

Too many to mention in the Alps but mustn't overlook home snow:

- Spring Run & The Flypaper, Glencoe.
- Summit Run & Goose Gully, Nevis Range.
- Ciste Gully & White Lady, Cairngorm.
- The Tiger & Glas Maol, Glencoe
- Any complete run at Weardale, Yad Moss or Raise - as it's always such a bonus to ski there.

@mountainaddict, well said.

Having previously enjoyed the delights of the Glenshee and Cairngorm runs you mention I got my first experience of the Spring Run and infamous Flypaper at Glencoe on 30th April last year. Wow.

I've never been to Beaver Creek so can't comment on that one but I love all of the others on ansta1's list. Flypaper, however, was a whole different ball game to any of them.

Kind of ironic because all the chaps pistes have been ruined by girls halfway down crying that "it's too steep" or "my ar$e looks massive" etc etc. Toofy Grin

Prefer that to Saslong. Which is handy, cos all the hoards go to Saslong cos they've heard of it, and leave Gran Risa empty for me Smile

can't disagree there. it's a bit of a slog at the end or a walk for those that insist on going sideways with their feet tethered together.

Any piste whatsoever that was bashed the night before, that subsequently picked up 30cm of fresh snow overnight and that you're on first thing before the lemming masses destroy it Toofy Grin

Agreed, but I'd rather have just 5-10cm of fresh snow, not 30cm. It's more inclined to get out of my way and is more flattering to one's skiing.
